Kosovo has lost its third game in the European Championship U20, Division B, in Hungary.

Kosovo was defeated by Luxembourg in a match where you could see clearly the signs of exhaustion from playing four games in five days.

After starting the game equally, at the end of the first quarter our basketball players had a fall which allowed Luxembourg to finish the first ten minutes of the game with the result 20:13.

The same game with many problems in defense continued in the second quarter as well and after twenty minutes of game Luxemburg had a 45:25 lead.

The team from the smallest town in Benelux proved that it deserved to be in the second place in group and is one of top eight teams in the Championship, next to Montenegro which has 4 victories out of 4 games.

Kosovo will continue with the competition the day after tomorrow.

Points from previous games with Portugal and Georgia will be transferred in the second phase where Kosovo will play against teams holding the 3rd and 4th place in group A, in this case Romania and most likely Austria.

After these two games, Kosovo will play the final game which will determine the final placement of Kosovo in the European Championship.
