KB Peja won the Supercup of Kosovo after defeating Sigal Prishtina 76-71 in its gym. For both teams this was the first official game of the season and it turned out to be an interesting one. The third quarter was the decisive one for Peja as the team managed to take the lead. At the break Sigal was up by 3 but with good defense the hosts went in front to take 7-point advantage in to the last ten minutes.
After that they played good enough to hold on to the lead despite the efforts of the visitors to make a comeback. Nenad Delic was the top scorer for the winners with 24 points. Kevin Burwel played well with 20 points as 10 apiece had Drilon Hajrizi and Roland Davis (7 assists). Very good game for the visitors had Stanimir Marinov with 21 points, 6 rebounds and 6 assists while Mohamed Abukar added 15 points.
Elvis Beqiri, representative of EB Group Salamander and Erolld Belegu, President of KBF handed the Supercup to the winning team, Peja, whereas the medals were given by Beqiri, Belegu and board member of KBF, Arben Fetahu.
